Tree and Barn #4

An old barn taken along one of NC's highways. This tree had grown alongside it and it gave the barn even more character.

This was taken in the early morning in the western part of North Carolina.

The watcher...

This tree is located at a dead end road and it is right in the middle of a cemetery that surrounds the tree and surrounding area. It seems a random place to have a cemetery but it's there with dates into the early 1900's.

Hollow

This is a picture of a hollowed out tree that was standing in some of the marshes located here in Wilmington, NC. I took this picture from a hole in the bottom of the tree looking up. When printed people have commented that it looks like a cave, a fallen tree, or a picture taken from the sky looking down. It was a unique shot that I am lucky to have been able to take.

Cloudy day at Lake J.

This was taken at a place called Lake Junaluska, a place near Maggie Valley in the Western part of NC. On this particular day there was a slight break from what was a rainy day. I used a 10 stop neutral density filter to help me capture the depth in the clouds.

Greenfield Lake tree

This is located at one of the local parks in Wilmington, NC. It's located at Greenfield Lake Park.

Water Reflection

The photo you see is of the water's reflection of the trees. If you look to the right you can see some blur from a slight ripple in the water.
